"Pulse Mining Systems Pty Ltd is a fast growing software development company based in Thornton. Pulse provides a complete software management system for running a modern mining corporation. The system covers every commercial aspect of mining including supply systems, financials, payroll, maintenance management, production and sales/marketing.
Over 60% of the coal shipped through the Port of Newcastle is produced by operations utilising Pulse software. A significant number of Pulse clients are global corporations. Pulse services mining companies Australia wide and internationally including Gold, Copper, Iron ore and Coal mining operations.
Growth in the client base saw a need to expand the business and consequently requirements for additional office space. Staff numbers have increased from 26 to over 40 in the past 18 months.
After 6 months of fruitless search for existing office space, Hunter Land was approached to construct a purpose built complex. They proved to be innovative, flexible and quick to respond with ideas and were instrumental in the final design to accommodate 55 personnel.
Within days of granting approval to proceed the construction process was commenced and the only disruption to the forecast occupancy date was caused by wet weather.
Throughout the building process weekly site meetings were conducted and construction progress monitored. During this phase minor changes and enhancements to the building and internals were suggested and approved to provide a fantastic end product at the budget cost.
The directors and staff are thrilled with the new complex. It has helped to improve productivity and provides a modern training and development environment for Pulse staff and clients. It is more than we could have hoped for.
