Hunter Land will develop seventy five hectares as an aerospace park adjacent to Newcastle Airport and RAAF Base Williamtown.  Williamtown Aerospace Park (WAP) will have taxiway access to the existing runway on Australia's largest Air Force Base (RAAF Base Williamtown).  NSW Planning Minister Kristina Kenneally gazetted the rezoning of the land on 13 February 2009 to permit WAP to proceed.
